Ainslie Lafko, Editor-in-Chief
Ainslie Lafko is a junior here at MCLA, pursuing a degree in Communications with a focus in Public Relations. Starting as a Staff Writer in the 2023-2024 academic year, Ainslie rose through the ranks quickly, becoming the Copy Editor and Vice President of The Beacon in the fall of 2024 and landing a position as the Editor in Chief and club President in the spring of 2025. When she isn’t crafting stories for The Beacon, Ainslie can be found around campus partaking in various other events, such as weekly intramural volleyball and frequent walks around the indoor track. Ainslie is an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and hopes to work with them in some capacity once she graduates in the spring of 2026.
